GetFiXR is a project completed at DesignersX for GetFiXR Media of Chandigarh. The app works in coalition with the website http://GetFiXR.in which provides verified listings of Tradesmen. The Android app works by fetching the data feed from the GetFiXR server & showing results based on User’s location.DesignersX worked closely with GetFiXR to provide the solution to the user of GetFiXR with a location aware app to pull relative results from the GetFiXR server. Customer is able to search, filter & call the listed tradesmen directly from the Android app. We are also working on a data entry app for GetFiXR staff to enter the data verified by them. When loaded app picks the user’s location by picking it from GPS & adjusting the location selector on top of the page. After that user can simply tap on the type of tradesmen required & will be presented with a list of tradesmen in his/her locality. And if the user is not sure about the locality & simply want a Map view, The user will be presented with a map view having different colored Maps Pins for each type of FiXR(Thats what the company calls the Tradesmen). And as the user select a PIN, More data like User’s average price & specialties will be presented to the customer with a quick call button or view detailed page buttonThe app has features like Location awareness, Cloud connectivity & In-Built Customer Support
