The topic of online education is very popular now; everyone is taking courses and learning something new. Talented is an app in the online education and e-learning sphere. The client came in with the question “Is there anything that needs to be done in terms of SEO for mobile apps?”.
A mobile app, SaaS or program performs some function, fulfills some need of people and people search for that function on Google. Therefore, if your app meets a specific need, there is at least one key query that people can use to find your app for their purposes. We analyzed the target audience of Talented, its functionality, and determined that the audience is looking for ways to learn music. Thus, our main query became 'music learning app,' as it accurately described both what people are searching for and what the app provides. Since the process of learning music consists of various components — learning music theory, rhythms, and dissecting pieces — these topics became the foundation for blog articles. We optimized the main page for the primary query 'music learning app,' created multilingual landing pages for the Spanish and Portuguese versions of the app, and conducted two iterations of link building based on relevant queries.
Our advice from this case: if your app supports multiple languages, create separate landing pages for each language, use queries with the same intent, and gather more traffic from different regions to expand your audience.
We used special schema markup specifically designed for apps. Thanks to this markup, users can see the app's rating and category in search results, which increases the app's appeal to the audience.
As a result, we achieved a TOP5 ranking in search results quickly and affordably.
