ReVistor is a mobile app that allows its users to experience historical events where they actually occurred with the help of augmented reality. The main purpose of the application is to preserve the memory and increase public interest with the American Civil War and other historical events. But there is also a spin-off application that enables users to create their own 3D augmented scenes at the GPS locations of their choosing.
